The Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural and Social Understanding (SMCCU) is a member organization of The Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives. The organization was established in 1998 by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to familiarize expatriates with the UAE.
Today, SMCCU connects the many nationalities living, working and visiting the UAE through its award-winning programs and activities that cultivate awareness about the UAE’s cultures, traditions and customs.
