A.R.M. Holding sponsors Urban Commissions 2020.

Urban Commissions is an annual design competition held under the Dubai Design Week. In this latest edition, designers living in the UAE were invited to submit proposals and conceptualize designs for multifunctional boutiques fit for an outdoor retail experience.

A.R.M. Holding awarded Emirati designer Reema Muhairy and Saudi designer Lujain Alatiq AED 100,000 for their winning project “Basta” to be manufactured in the UAE with funding and support from the Holding and completed for staging at the DDW Market in November 2020. 

The designers modeled “Basta” after communal markets and created a modular kiosk that can be adapted to the needs of retailers, that functions individually or as an outfit.
