Urban Commissions Launches its 2021 edition with the support of A.R.M. Holding

A.R.M. Holding is sponsoring Urban Commissions for the second consecutive year. The current edition of the annual design competition is held under a “playfulness” theme and challenges the recent global events that have upended the way people interact with public spaces. Urban Commissions 21 calls on creatives, designers and architects in the region to think up playful ways of reinstating social relations through an interactive public space feature to be staged at Dubai Design Week in November.

Last year, A.R.M. Holding awarded Emirati designer Reema Muhairy and Saudi designer Lujain Alatiq AED 100,000 for their winning project “Basta” to be manufactured in the UAE.
